Alpaca Scarf – Alpaca, Midway Stripe, Charcoal
Stylish, warm and soft alpaca wool scarf, made in the Scottish Borders from high quality British alpaca yarns. This natural undyed Charcoal is made from a special blend of black with a small quantity of white alpaca fleece, the mid section is given a slightly different look with brown stripes. Waste off-cuts were used to create the leather hand-embossed logo tag.
All-British natural fibre knitwear label Ally Bee recently launched a limited edition line of men’s scarves during A/W 15 in British Alpaca as part of their Cold Climate Collection.
Founded by Alison Baker and now into its second season, Ally Bee knitwear uses British alpaca yarns bespoke-spun for the collection and each piece is manufactured in a small factory in the Scottish Borders. Following repeated requests for a menswear line, Ally Bee presents exquisitely soft scarves for the discerning man looking for quality, understated style and origination in the British Isles. Yarns are made in limited batches and spun from the fleece of alpaca flocks that can be found grazing on smallholdings down in the south of England. The entire collection has a soft luxurious feel similar to cashmere and is sustainably sourced.
