New York based ethical jewelry brand Palomino Jewelry was founded by Kathryn Fuller who after spending much of her childhood outdoors was inspired by nature to create beautiful and bold jewelry. Kathyn is one of those rare talented creatives that was mostly self taught and produces each piece to tell a story and have a visible connection to the natural world. As a keen horse rider from a young Kathryn decided to name her band ‘Palomino’ which refers to a golden coloured horses that have a white mane and were originally bred in the south-western region of the USA.
All leather is reclaimed and mainly comes from a supplier in New York, essentially they are damaged hides that cannot be used by fashion houses and therefore have been thrown thrown out. Materials are carefully sourced with consideration for the environment and also preserving and showing respect for textures and organic forms.
Palomino Jewelry have also received a prestigious European Butterfly Mark award by Positive Luxury who recognise brands that excel within the area of sustainable design.
